CAN Partners with MetLife Nepal to Provide Insurance for National Cricket Players

Kathmandu, The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has joined hands with MetLife Nepal in a significant partnership aimed at enhancing the health and safety of Nepali national cricket players.

 

Under this collaboration, MetLife Nepal will provide insurance coverage to approximately 160 individuals associated with the national cricket team.

 

As part of the insurance scheme, the players will receive up to NPR 10 lakh in coverage for accidental death, NPR 2 lakh for accidental medical expenses, and NPR 1 lakh for hospitalization. This partnership is expected to offer crucial support and protection to players, ensuring their well-being both on and off the field.

 

The collaboration between CAN and MetLife Nepal is seen as a positive step towards safeguarding the future of Nepali cricketers and fostering a safer environment for the sport.
