Sun Nepal Life Marks 7th Anniversary with Launch of New Insurance Plans

Kathmandu, Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited celebrated its 7th anniversary by unveiling two new life insurance policy: Sunlife Medicare and Sunaulo Bal Samridh Jeevan Bima Yojana. Launched on Sunday, these plans aim to strengthen medical and financial security for policyholders.

 

The Sunaulo Bal Samridh Jeevan Bima Yojana provides financial support to families if the proposer dies during the policy period. In such an event, the sum assured is paid, and the insured child receives a monthly income of up to 2% of the sum assured until the policy matures.

 

Meanwhile, Sunlife Medicare, the first plan of its kind in Nepal, offers up to NPR 100,000 for emergency hospital treatments. This scheme seeks to make medical care more accessible to the average Nepali citizen during critical situations.

 

In addition to launching the new plans, the company produced a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) video addressing foreign employment issues. To mark the anniversary, Sun Nepal Life organized week-long community service events across Nepal, including tree planting, food and clothing distribution, temple cleaning, and financial literacy workshops for students.

 

The company also updated its ISO 27001 certification, reaffirming its commitment to information security. During the celebrations, CEO Aryal emphasized the growing need for insurance in strengthening financial stability, expressing gratitude to stakeholders for their continued support. Looking ahead, Sun Nepal Life plans to further enhance its customer-focused insurance services and aims to become a leading player in the insurance sector.

Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited celebrated its seventh anniversary by organizing “Prabhatferi” program on September 22. The event aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of life insurance in society.

 

The program saw significant participation from the company’s employees and insurance agents. During the program, participants carried posters promoting the necessity and benefits of life insurance as they walked along various major roads. This early morning procession attracted attention and helped inform the public about how life insurance can provide financial security and peace of mind.
