Anju Shrestha appointed CEO of Himalayan Everest Insurance

Kathmandu. Acting CEO Anju Shrestha has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited. Making history as the second female CEO in Nepali non-life insurance companies, Shrestha will lead Himalayan Everest Insurance Company.

The company’s board of directors meeting held on Bhadra 27 decided to appoint Anju Shrestha, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, as the CEO. Following the decision, a contract agreement was signed between the board of directors and Shrestha for the CEO position for four years.

According to the company secretary, Dhruba Prasad Neupane, Anju has been contracted for the CEO position for four years starting from Ashwin 18. Shrestha will formally assume the CEO role after receiving approval from the regulatory body, Nepal Insurance Authority.
